1962 In 1962 Hughes and Sheila Potiker founded Entertainment Publications with the inaugural publication of a coupon book called Sports Unlimited. The first edition, which focused solely on the Detroit market, sold 8,000 copies.
1964 The Entertainment name first appears on the company’s coupon book, and it now includes discounts for dining and theater as well as sports.
1972 Sally Foster founds SallyFoster® Giftwrap with her husband Philip.
1978 First national hotel discounts published.
1981 Entertainment Reaches 22 Markets in the U.S.
1982 First Canadian coupon book edition.
1982 First private-labeled, custom coupon book program.
1987 Entertainment operates in 72 markets.
1989 Discounts from national merchants are included in the Entertainment Book.
1990 Entertainment operates in 95 markets.
1992 Entertainment Publications was acquired by CUC International (later known as Cendant).
1993 Acquires Sally Foster® Giftwrap.
1998 Entertainment.com launches.
1999 Carlyle Group buyout of CUC (now known as IAC/InterActiveCorp).
2000 First online coupon printed from Entertainment.com.
2000 First SaversGuide programs developed giving corporate partners the ability to have private-labeled online savings memberships.
2001 SallyFoster.com launched.
2001 Seller Section and Chairperson Corner launched to help fundraisers and sellers have an online portal to help raise funds.
2001 1 millionth registrant overall on Entertainment.com.
2002 IAC/InterActive Corp acquires Entertainment.
2006 Entertainment introduces Cookie Dough to its fundraising portfolio.
2007 Entertainment Online launches as an online only membership.
2007 First Instant Rewards program launched for private-labeled, corporate programs.
2008 Entertainment Publications was acquired by MH Equity Investors, an Indianapolis-based firm.
2009 Custom fundraising bundles known as Saving Spree launched which includes DigitalSavingsClub.com online membership site.
2010 Extreme Savings Card for High School football teams launched.  Incorporates national retail coupon book, card-based savings and access to online savings site.
2010 Entertainment Book Companion mobile app launched for iPhone.
2010 Entertainment Daily Deal launches.
2010 Discount Dining Dollars launched .
2011 Entertainment Book Companion mobile app for Android and Blackberry released to support the 2011 membership book.
2011 The 50th anniversary edition of the Entertainment coupon book is released.
2011 Entertainment Membership App is released for iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices to include mobile redemption.
2011 Daily Deal expands to 26 DMAs (total 33 trade areas).
